Do you know if there were any pictures or paintings of the noble Krusemarck family? It would be interesting to know whether my ancestors resembled them. I welcome anyone who would like to correspond about the family. I may be reached at bethmonts@yahoo.com.

The first two pictures are of my great grandfather, Dr. Charles Krusemarck, who was born in Chicago, IL and practiced medicine there.   The next picture is Dr. Charles Krusemarck and his wife Ida May (Layman) Krusemarck and their first two children, Orville, on the left, and Charlie on the right (taken about 1888).  They had four children.

The next picture is of my grandmother, Elizabeth Krusemarck, daughter of Dr. Charles Krusemarck. The next picture is of Dr. Charles and Ida May Krusemarck.   It is a picture is of the Krusemarck barn on the family farm near Grayslake, Illinois (north of Chicago).  It clearly shows how the family spelled their last name.

The last picture is of William Krusemarck, father of Dr. Charles Krusemarck.  He was born in Germany and emigrated to the United States around 1850.

Sybille Sidden gab mir den Hinweis auf dieses Portrait von Prinz Heinrich von Preußen, das von Max Krusemark gemalt wurde:
Thanks to Sibylle Sidden who told me about this portrait of Prince Heinrich of Prussia, painted from Max Krusemark:
